La Liga club-by-club transfer latest: July 16

Sports Mole rounds up all the latest rumours and done deals from Spain's top flight.

With the World Cup now over, transfer business has taken off around Europe as club managers attempt to improve their squads for the new campaign.

Here, Sports Mole has rounded up all the latest rumours and done deals from Spain's top flight.

Almeria

It has been a busy summer for Almeria thus far, with Aleix Vidal joining Sevilla in a deal that saw goalkeeper Julian Cuesta move the other way on a three-year contract.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old midfielder Ivan Sanchez joined from Atletico Madrid's reserve side.

Ximo Navarro and Tomer Hemed have also both joined from Mallorca.

The latest player to arrive at the club is Thailand international Teersail Dangda, who has joined from Muangthong United.

Dangda could soon be joined by Arsenal forward Wellington Silva, who is reportedly close to a loan deal.

Athletic Bilbao

Bilbao have lost Ander Herrera to Manchester United this summer, with the Spaniard signing a long-term deal with the Premier League outfit.

However, fellow Spanish talent Iker Muniain has signed a new long-term contract until 2017.

Spaniard Benat had been linked with a move away, but the midfielder has vowed to remain at the club and fight for his first-team place.

In terms of outgoings, Enric Saborit has joined Real Mallorca on loan for the 2014-15 campaign.

Atletico Madrid

Last week, Bayern Munich confirmed that they had reached an agreement with Atletico for the transfer of Croatian forward Mario Manduzkic, who has joined the club on a long-term deal.

Highly-rated Benfica goalkeeper Jan Oblak, meanwhile, confirmed earlier this week that he had agreed to move to the Vicente Calderon.

Diego Costa has already moved on to Chelsea this summer and will be joined by Filipe Luis after the two clubs agreed a deal for the left-back.

Miranda, however, is expected to remain with the La Liga champions despite strong interest from Manchester United and Barcelona. As it stands, the Brazilian's buy-out clause is around £24m.

Despite the signing of Mandzukic, at least one more new striker is expected to arrive, with Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku and Manchester City's Alvaro Negredo both linked with the Vicente Calderon.

However, this week, Negredo has revealed a desire to fight for his position at City.

Arda Turan could be heading for Liverpool, however, with the Premier League club said to be preparing a £32m move for the Turkish international.

Adrian Lopez has also made the switch to Porto, which has intensified Atletico's interest in Hellas Verona midfielder Juan Iturbe.

Barcelona

It has been a busy seven days for Barcelona.

Luis Suarez finally completed his move to the Camp Nou last Friday, with the Uruguay international joining for a figure believed to be in the region of £75m.

Alexis Sanchez, meanwhile, has been sold to Arsenal.

New centre-backs remain a priority for the club, but it is understood that moves for Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos and Valencia's Jeremy Mathieu have both stalled.

In terms of Xavi, club president Josep Maria Bartomeu said earlier this week that a final decision still had not been made regarding the veteran's future.

Bartomeu also confirmed that there would be at least two more signings this summer.

Dani Alves had looked certain to leave the Camp Nou this summer, but has recently revealed his happiness in Barcelona.

In terms of outgoings, Alex Song and Bojan are both expected to leave the club in the near future, while Isaac Cuenca has already moved on to Deportivo La Coruna and goalkeeper Oier Olazabel to Granada.

Cristian Tello, meanwhile, has joined Porto on loan.

Celta Vigo

It has been a relatively busy summer for Celta in terms of incomings, with Gustavo Cabral arriving on a permanent deal having spent the last two seasons on loan in Vigo.

Sergi Gomez and Carles Planas have also joined from Barcelona B, while Pablo Hernandez has moved from O'Higgins.

Hernandez, however, could miss the start of the season after suffering a thigh injury.

In terms of departures, Nolito has been linked with former club Barcelona and Sevilla are reportedly interested in Celta goalkeeper Yoel.

Cordoba

Next season will be the first time Cordoba have been in Spain's top flight since 1972 and head coach David Ferrer has been extremely active in the market thus far.

Deivid has joined from Las Palmas on a two-year deal, while Florin Andone has also arrived from Villarreal.

Pedro Sanchez, meanwhile, has insisted that he wants to stay with the club this summer despite strong outside interest.

Fidel Chaves has joined on loan from Elche, while Lopez Garagi has moved on a free transfer after leaving Sporting Gijon.

The business continued towards the end of last week, with Fede Cartabia joining on loan from Valencia and Jose Carlos on a free transfer from Rayo Vallecano.

Cameroon midfielder Patrick Ekeng has also arrived, but the club are expected to be frustrated in their attempts to sign Chelsea attacker Uli Davila on loan for another season.

Deportivo La Coruna

Last week, the club's board took the surprising decision to sack head coach Fernando Vasquez, despite the Spaniard leading Deportivo back into La Liga.

Since then, former Real Zaragoza boss Victor Fernandez has been appointed as the new manager.

In terms of incomings, Isaac Cuenca has joined on a one-year contract from Barcelona, while Deportivo are also hopeful of completing a deal for Cuenca's former teammate Bojan, but face strong competition from Premier League side Stoke City.

They are also believed to be in the market for Wolfsburg's Ibrahim Sissoko.

Eibar

Eibar have added fresh blood to their squad this summer, with Javi Lara joining from Ponferradina.

More recently, goalkeeper Jaime Jimenez has joined from Real Valladolid and striker Angel Luis has moved to the club from Levante.

In terms of outgoings, Raul Navas has signed a permanent deal with Real Sociedad, but will remain on loan at Eibar for the 2014-15 campaign.

Elche

Carlos Sanchez's performances in Colombia's World Cup campaign, meanwhile, have reportedly attracted a host of interest, with the midfielder available for as little as £4m.

However, the club's president Jose Sepulcre said last week that no offer had been received.

Pedro Mosquera has arrived on a free transfer from Getafe and he has been joined by Polish goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton, who has moved on loan from PSV Eindhoven.

Elche have also reportedly been frustrated in their attempts to sign Jorge Molina from Real Betis, with the Seville-based club believed to have rejected an offer in the region of £1m.

Espanyol

Transfer business has already been completed this summer, with Anaitz Arbilla joining the Barcelona-based side on a free from Rayo Vallecano and experienced midfielder Salva Sevilla moving on a free transfer from Real Betis.

On Tuesday, it was also confirmed that Ecuador international Felipe Caicedo had moved to the club on a free transfer after leaving Al-Jazira.

Espanyol are also believed to be interested in loaning Christian Atsu from Chelsea.

In terms of outgoings, goalkeeper Kiko Casilla is highly-rated in La Liga, with Real Sociedad reportedly preparing a move for the 27-year-old.

Christian Stuani had been expected to move on after the World Cup, but the player's agent has recently hinted that the striker could now remain with the club.

Skipper Sergio Garcia, meanwhile, has said that he wants to sign a contract for life at the club.

Getafe

Colombian midfielder Fredy Hinestroza has joined Getafe on loan from La Equidad for the remainder of the season, while French midfielder Karim Yoda has joined from Romanian side Astra Giurgiu.

First-choice goalkeeper Miguel Moya has departed for Atletico Madrid this summer, meanwhile, leaving the capital outfit in the market for a new stopper this summer, with Valencia's Vicente Guaita believed to be their main target.

That said, 33-year-old stopper Jonathan Lopez announced last week that he had joined Getafe following a spell in Greece with Veria FC.

Osasuna pair Alejandro Arribas and Andres Fernandez have also been linked with Getafe over the past week.

Granada

Granada recently announced that SC Braga winger Juan Perez had joined the club on loan and that was quickly followed by the news that Javi Marquez had moved from Mallorca.

Goalkeeper Oier Olazabal has also arrived from Barcelona B, while Jean-Sylvain and Daniel Larsson were recently confirmed as new signings on free transfers.

In terms of outgoings, there are also doubts over the future of right-back Allan Nyom, who impressed for Cameroon at the World Cup.

Brayan Angulo has been linked with a move to Bulgarian side Ludogorets, but Granada have denied that they have agreed to sell Algerian midfielder Yacine Brahimi to Portuguese side Porto.

Levante

New boss Jose Luis Mendilibar's toughest task this summer will be to fight off interest in Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who is now regarded as one of the best stoppers in European football.

A brilliant performance in Costa Rica's sensational World Cup campaign has not made his task any easier, with a number of clubs monitoring proceedings.

The latest developments in that story were revealed on Monday, with the goalkeeper releasing a statement saying that his future will be decided in the next few days.

Transfer business has already been completed, however, with Jaime Gavilan joining from Getafe on an initial one-year deal, with the option of two additional years.

Malaga

Last week, it was confirmed that Malaga had sold Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero to Manchester City following a long summer of speculation.

Malaga also announced that Ivory Coast international Arthur Boka had joined on a free transfer, with the Spanish club beating a host of clubs to the left-back's signature.

Roberto Rosales has also arrived from FC Twente and he has been joined by Portuguese winger Ricardo Horta, with the youngster arriving on a five-year deal from Vitoria Setubal.

Highly-rated forward Ezequiel Rescaldini, meanwhile, has signed a new four-year contract.

Rayo Vallecano

An earlier report claimed that Rayo Vallecano had just seven first-team players tied down for the new season, but Paco Jemez has been busy over the last few weeks.

This week, Alex Moreno, Derek Boateng and Diego Aguirre have all joined on free transfers.

Antonio Amaya has also arrived from Real Betis alongside Real Madrid Castilla right-back Quini.

Manucho, meanwhile, has joined on a free transfer from Real Valladolid.

Two more players arrived towards the end of last month, with Jorge Morcillo joining from Recreativo de Huelva on a three-year deal and Jozabed Sanchez from Real Jaen.

Real Madrid

Madrid's first major signing of the summer is expected to be Toni Kroos, with the Bayern Munich midfielder due to be unveiled at the Bernabeu on Thursday.

Reports of a move for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao have quietened down, but club teammate James Rodriguez has reportedly agreed personal terms over a big-money move to Spain.

Madrid are also believed to be preparing a move for Real Sociedad's Inigo Martinez, with Raphael Varane linked with a move away from the club.

In terms of outgoings, Sami Khedira has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Madrid reportedly setting the German international's price at £32m.

Angel di Maria continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, while Alvaro Morata's agent has claimed that the striker is close to joining Juventus.

Rumours surrounding the goalkeeping situation continue to gather pace, meanwhile, with Levante's Keylor Navas reportedly wanted to replace Diego Lopez, despite the Spaniard's agent confirming that the stopper wants to remain at the Bernabeu.

Casemiro, meanwhile, has been linked with a loan move to Benfica.

Real Sociedad

Antoine Griezmann, who scored 20 times last season, continues to be linked with a host of European clubs, but the Frenchman has hinted that he could sign a new deal with the Basque club.

Liverpool, however, fresh from the sale of Luis Suarez, are reportedly preparing a £20m offer, while Monaco are also said to be monitoring developments.

Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, however, has departed the club for Barcelona, with Sociedad reportedly interested in signing Valencia's Vicente Guaita as the Chilean's direct replacement.

Spanish centre-back Inigo Martinez, meanwhile, continues to be linked with Real Madrid.

Sevilla

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Sevilla had signed Liverpool forward Iago Aspas on loan for the 2014-15 campaign.

It is understood that Sevilla have entered the race for Marseille midfielder Mathieu Valbuena, who starred at the World Cup for France this summer.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have reportedly reignited their interest in Spanish international Alberto Moreno, having previously been priced out of a move.

Right-back Coke is believed to have turned down the chance to sign for Marseille this summer and will instead commit to a new deal in Seville.

Alberto Botia, meanwhile, who spent last season on loan at Elche, has vowed to fight for his spot in the XI this season.

Sevilla have also been linked with Celta Vigo goalkeeper Yoel, while Juventus midfielder Fausto Rossi, who spent last season with Real Valladolid, has recently talked up a move.

Valencia

The transfer saga regarding Jeremy Mathieu continues to drag on, with Valencia unprepared to sell the Frenchman for under his £20m asking price and Barcelona, at the moment, refusing to meet that figure.

A move for Marseille attacker Valbuena, meanwhile, has seemingly stalled, while there was also bad news regarding Juan Bernat, with the talented 21-year-old moving on to Bayern Munich on a long-term deal.

Los Che have also been strongly linked with a move for Benfica forward Rodrigo, with reports claiming that the 23-year-old could join this week.

In terms of outgoings, Adil Rami has left for AC Milan and Fede Cartabia has joined Cordoba on a season-long loan.

Villarreal

On Tuesday, Villarreal officially announced the signing of Antonio Rukavina from Real Valladolid following weeks of speculation.

Rukavina has been joined by Jonathan dos Santos, who has moved to the Yellow Submarine from Barcelona, while Javier Espinosa has signed a free transfer from Barcelona B.

Giovani dos Santos proved key for Villarreal last season, with his form also aiding talk of a move, but the Mexican, along with the likes of Bruno and Cani, seem unlikely to leave despite interest, with club CEO Fernando Roig Nogueroles recently claiming that the club are confident of keeping their key players this summer.

However, French forward Jeremy Perbet revealed earlier this week that he is leaving the Yellow Submarine this summer.
