Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez is reportedly determined to secure a move to Atletico Madrid before the summer transfer window in Spain closes at the start of September.
The Colombia international has been linked with both Atletico and Napoli in recent weeks after returning to Madrid following a two-year loan at German giants Bayern Munich.
Juventus are also believed to be considering a swoop for the playmaker after a personal recommendation from his former Los Blancos teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, according to Onda Cero, the 28-year-old favours staying in the Spanish capital to join Diego Simeone's side, who have already spent heavily in this summer's market.
The report, though, claims that Atletico would have to come up with a bid of £46m to land the South American.
Rodriguez has scored 36 times in 111 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, while he struck 15 goals in 67 games during his time with Bayern.
