Everton playmaker James Rodriguez has affirmed that "no-one" wants him at Real Madrid amid speculation over his future.
The 29-year-old arrived on Merseyside in the summer of 2020 after falling out of favour under Zinedine Zidane, and it has not taken long for Rodriguez to settle into life in England.
The Colombia international boasts five goals and four assists from 18 Premier League appearances this season, although he has found himself linked with a move away amid reports claiming that he is unhappy at Goodison Park.
However, Rodriguez was quick to quash any rumours of a Real Madrid return during a Twitch livestream, saying: "It is not in my plans, to be honest.
"Who knows what could happen in two, three or four years because anything can happen in football, but I don't think so. At the moment no. No-one wants me there. It is part of football."
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has also dismissed rumours claiming that the former Real Madrid man wants to leave.
