Gareth Bale is 'unlikely' to leave Real Madrid during the January or summer transfer window, according to agent Jonathan Barnett.

Agent Jonathan Barnett has said that Gareth Bale is 'unlikely' to leave Real Madrid during 2020.

Despite being handed regular game time by Zinedine Zidane this season, Bale continues to be linked with a move away from the Bernabeu.

However, despite alleged interest from the Premier League, China and the MLS, Bale appears ready to spend at least another 12 months at the club.

Speaking to ESPN, Barnett insisted that the Wales international is "going nowhere" in January, adding that an exit is also "very unlikely" later in the year.

Los Blancos are said to be keen on getting Bale off their wage bill as soon as possible as they look to make new signings.

The 30-year-old still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
