Theo Hernandez has revealed that he feels "much better" at Real Madrid as the full-back targets becoming "a first-team regular" for the Spanish giants in the coming years.
The 20-year-old joined Los Blancos from Atletico Madrid in last summer's transfer window, and the French-born defender struggled for football in the opening months of the 2017-18 campaign due to Marcelo's presence at left-back.
The sheer volume of matches has seen Hernandez feature on a more regular basis in 2018, however, and the youngster has revealed that he is "very happy with how the season is panning out".
"I struggled at the start of coming here, it is such a massive club and it was not easy to adapt straight away, but I never had any doubts about coming here or my ability to succeed," Hernandez told Diario AS.
"Now I feel much better and I am very happy with how the season is panning out and my role at the club. My dream is to continue to grow here and become a first-team regular."
Hernandez has managed two assists in 20 appearances for Real this season.
