Real Madrid defender Marcelo has said that the team's spirit is still high, despite dropping points in back-to-back games.
Jose Mourinho's side were on course for a win over Villarreal after Cristiano Ronaldo's second-half strike. However, Marcos Senna's late free kick found the back of the net to level the score with less than ten minutes to go.
"We are getting on with our work but sometimes referees go against us," he told La Sexta.
"We will have to keep on working. We have to improve in a lot of things. Tonight we conceded another goal from a set piece but we're still in front and we'll keep working.
"Tonight was a tough match but we're fine. We did not get the win but the team spirit is good."
Meanwhile, Los Blancos remain six points ahead of rivals Barcelona in La Liga.
