Isco: 'Cristiano Ronaldo must win Ballon d'Or'

Real Madrid attacker Isco believes that teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is destined to win another Ballon d'Or.

Isco has admitted that he would be astounded if Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo did not win a second successive Ballon d'Or.

Ronaldo is the firm favourite to pick up the top prize once more after helping Los Blancos win their 10th European Cup last term.

Barcelona's Lionel Messi is Ronaldo's closest competitor, but the Portuguese is odds-on for the accolade.

"Personally, I think Cristiano is favourite for all that he's shown. The goals he's scored, the trophies he's won," Isco told AS.

Ronaldo, who scored 51 times in 47 games last season, has already registered 22 goals in 15 games this term.
