How Real Madrid could line up against Real Sociedad

Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid will be looking to make it back-to-back La Liga wins when they face Real Sociedad on Sunday night.

Madrid recorded a 3-2 victory over Villarreal last weekend, but suffered a 1-0 defeat at Rayo Vallecano in their last away match at the end of last month.

Los Blancos remain third in the table - six points off second-placed Atletico Madrid ahead of Week 37.

There is little for the European champions to play for in their final couple of matches, and therefore head coach Zinedine Zidane is once again expected to use the opportunity to have a look at a number of different options.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Madrid could line up on Sunday night.

Out: Sergio Ramos (hamstring), Alvaro Odriozola (collarbone)

Zidane has already named his squad for Sunday's fixture, and there is once again no place for Gareth Bale, who has been left out for the second week running.

It does appear increasingly likely that the Wales international will be leaving the Bernabeu this summer, although it remains to be seen whether any club are prepared to take on his huge wages.

Raphael Varane has also been surprisingly left out when considering that captain Sergio Ramos is still injured, but Karim Benzema is available once again after missing the clash with Villarreal through injury.

The fact that Keylor Navas has been omitted suggests that Thibaut Courtois will start between the sticks once again, while Brahim Diaz will be hoping to keep his position in attack.

That said, Marco Asensio, Isco and Vinicius Junior all came off the bench against the Yellow Submarine last time out, meaning that Zidane has a number of options to choose from.
