Reading 3-0 Brighton
Reading beat Brighton 3-0 at the Madejski Stadium.

Reading have moved into sixth place in the Championship after beating Brighton 3-0 at the Madejski Stadium this afternoon.

Captain Jobi McAnuff put the home side ahead inside 20 minutes, beating Brighton keeper Casper Ankergren from close range after a move from a corner kick.

The midfielder doubled the score in the final minute of the first half as he cut in from a wide position, beat his man and found the back of the net from distance for his second.

The hosts were able to seal the win as the ball bounced off Brighton defender Adam El-Abd and into the back of his own net with seconds left in the contest.
