Reading midfielder Jem Karacan has insisted that the team must not give up their slim hopes of Premier League survival.
The Royals, who are 10 points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table, will be relegated if they lose at home to Queens Park Rangers later today.
"The fans need to see that we are giving 110% and we need to get maximum points from these games," Karacan is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"We just have to keep going, until it's mathematically impossible for us to stay up. We've got to give all we can."
Karacan has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Reading this season.
