Billy Sharp hopes to revive career at Reading

Billy Sharp says that he wants to get his career "back on track" at Reading following his loan switch from Southampton.

Billy Sharp is hopeful that he can get his career "back on track" following his move to Reading.

The 27-year-old completed a three-month loan deal from Southampton to the Madejski Stadium yesterday, teaming up with former boss Nigel Adkins.

"Finally it's done and hopefully I can get my career back on track and help Reading climb the table," Sharp told BBC Radio Berkshire.

Sharp has not played since May 4, when he was sent on loan to Nottingham Forest from Southampton.
