Experienced centre-back Clint Hill is reportedly closing in on a move to Scottish side Rangers.
The 37-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Queens Park Rangers and it is understood that he wants to take on a playing and coaching role at his next club.
According to the Daily Record, Rangers will offer Hill that opportunity, with the former Stoke City and Crystal Palace defender preparing to link up with former teammate Joey Barton in Scotland.
Hill started his professional career with Tranmere Rovers in 1997.
