Queens Park Rangers chief executive expects player exits

Queens Park Rangers chief executive Philip Beard expects that the club will need to sell players after the recent additions to their squad.

Queens Park Rangers chief executive Philip Beard has said that he expects the club will need to sell players after Mark Hughes's summer recruitment drive.

Hughes has already signed six players as he looks to improve a squad that only avoided relegation to the Championship on the last day of the season.

However, Beard predicts that the additions will be countered by some players exiting the Loftus Road club.

Beard told West London Sport: "It is up to Mark Hughes, but they way I see it is that everyone has got to fight for their place.

"But I think every club has got to look at the bigger picture. If you are bringing in a significant number of players, then some players are not going to feature in the manager's plans."

QPR have bolstered their playing ranks with the likes of Park Ji-Sung from Manchester United and Robert Green from West Ham United.
