Harry Redknapp: "We got what we deserved"

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp says that his side need to improve following their 4-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur if they are to remain in the league.

Harry Redknapp has admitted that his Queens Park Rangers side 'got what they deserved' in their 4-0 reverse against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

A Nacer Chadli brace, combined with strikes from Eric Dier and Emmanuel Adebayor either side of half time, sent Spurs on their way to an emphatic victory against their London rivals at White Hart Lane.

"We didn't play well," BBC Sport quotes Redknapp as saying. "We got what we deserved, which is nothing. We didn't play with enough energy and I thought we were in awe of Tottenham a little bit.

"I just felt we started sloppy and never really got better. You have to play with energy, you can't stroll about in this division if you want to stay in it."

QPR face Burton Albion in the League Cup on Tuesday night.
