Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi hints at Edinson Cavani stay

PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi suggests that striker Edinson Cavani will not be sold this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has hinted that the club will keep hold of striker Edinson Cavani this summer.

Reports have suggested that Manchester United are keen on the 28-year-old, while Juventus have also been linked with the Uruguayan international.

However, Al-Khelaifi is confident that Cavani will remain with the French champions beyond the end of the season.

"Edinson Cavani is a player I really like," he told Le Parisien. "I can tell you that he is very much with us, and the question of his departure has not arisen. Paris loves him and he loves Paris."

Cavani joined PSG from Napoli for around £50m in 2013.
