Paris Saint-Germain miss out on top spot in Ligue 1 as they are held to a 1-1 draw at home to Bordeaux.

Paris Saint-Germain have missed out on the chance to go top of Ligue 1 after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Bordeaux.

The visitors made the breakthrough in the 77th minute when Cheick Diabate fired in from inside the area after he was teed up by Nicolas Maurice-Belay.

It didn't take long for the hosts to equalise as Guillaume Hoarau rifled the ball into the top corner just minutes later.

Despite being level on points with leaders Montpellier, PSG are second in the table by virtue of an inferior goal difference.
