Paris Saint-Germain striker Kevin Gameiro says that he will stay and challenge Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a place in the team.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kevin Gameiro has vowed to stay and fight for his place in the starting lineup.

There has been speculation regarding the 25-year-old's future since the arrivals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

However, Gamiero said that he is happy in the French capital following his move from Lorient last summer.

"Everything can go fast in football but I'm Parisian and prepared to give everything for this shirt," Gameiro told French radio station RMC.

"I feel good in Paris and I want to stay for the moment."

Gameiro scored 11 goals in 27 appearances last season.
