Relegation-threatened Strasbourg play host to Nice at the Stade de la Meinau on Saturday, looking to move closer to safety in Ligue 1.

Last week's victory over Nantes created some separation from the bottom four, while the Eaglets' result over Rennes keeping them eighth in the table.

We say: Strasbourg 1-1 Nice

Nice have not won any of their last four games against Strasbourg since a 2-0 win in August 2020, and that run is expected to extend to five.

However, the side with the fourth-best away record in Ligue 1 should avoid defeat at La Meinau, even if the hosts enter the clash with three victories in their last five at home.

PSG vs. Ajaccio (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Paris Saint-Germain cannot confirm their status as Ligue 1 champions this weekend, but they can consign relegation-threatened AC Ajaccio to their fate when they welcome the 18th-placed outfit to the Parc des Princes on Saturday evening.

Christophe Galtier's men responded to more off-field drama with a convincing 3-1 success at Troyes last weekend, while their visitors claimed a creditable 0-0 draw against Coupe de France winners Toulouse.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 Ajaccio

Despite displaying their newfound defensive acumen during the visit of Toulouse, Ajaccio should not expect such good fortune at the Parc des Princes, where going all out for the win needed to prolong their stay could and should prove fatal.

Galtier's side have hardly been a force to be reckoned with on their own patch of late, but it should simply be a case of how many Les Parisiens can rack up, as their visitors wave goodbye to the big boys in less-than-ideal fashion.
