Josip Ilicic's agent denies any contact with Roma or Fiorentina and insists that the Slovenian forward wants to stay at Palermo.

Josip Ilicic will not leave Palermo at the end of the season, according to the forward's agent.

Amir Ruznic insists that the 25-year-old is only focused on helping the Sicilian club retain their Serie A status.

"I want to deny all these rumours that have been circulated," he told Radio Blu. "I have not had contact with either Roma or Fiorentina.

"Ilicic must only think about staying up with Palermo. Josip has shown he has the qualities needed to play in Serie A, but any talk about his future will be for the end of the season."

Ilicic joined Palermo from Maribor in 2010.
