Dougie Freedman thrilled by Nottingham Forest triumph

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman hails his side after seeing them thrash former club Bolton 4-1 in the Championship.

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman has heaped praise on his side following their 4-1 win over former club Bolton Wanderers.

Forest made it three victories in their last four Championship games on Saturday as they eased past Bolton at the City Ground.

Freedman believes that his squad's desire to learn is making it a "joy" for him to be working at the club.

"I am really pleased, because this is a fantastic group of players to work with. They are a joy. They want to understand what you want from them, they want to learn, they want to improve," the Scot is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"With their ability and talent they have got, it is really pleasing to see that coming out as a manager. All round, this was a very, very good performance for us."

Forest return to action on Wednesday when they host high-flying Bournemouth in the league.
