New Norwich City striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel has expressed his excitement ahead of beginning a career in the Premier League.
The Dutch international agreed to join the Canaries from Sporting Lisbon in March and scored 15 times in his 35 appearances for the Portuguese outfit last season.
The 24-year-old is confident that he can cut it in the English top flight, but only once he has completed a pre-season training programme.
"I've never really had that much trouble getting used to a new competition or new team so I hope I can do the same again," Van Wolfswinkel told the club's official website.
"But you have to work hard of course, you have to bring your quality and add that to the team and we'll see how it works out, but I have a really great feeling about it.
"I am really looking forward to meeting up with the team and playing my first game at Carrow Road. I really can't wait."
Van Wolfswinkel signed a four-year deal at Carrow Road.
