Norwich City manager Alex Neil disappointed with referee's decisions

Alex Neil is disappointed with the decision not to award his side a goal in their match against Crystal Palace.

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has said that he was disappointed with both his side's performance and the referee's decision to disallow a goal at a key moment of today's game against Crystal Palace.

Cameron Jerome had a goal ruled out for a high boot with the Canaries losing 2-1, before Palace went on to win 3-1.

"We dominated the game at the start and we had to take our chances, but we didn't do that," Neil told BBC Sport. "I thought in the main, our use of the ball was good. We controlled most of the game, but it is a lesson."

"It was a key moment in the game," Neil said when asked about Jerome's disallowed goal. "It's extremely disappointing, more often than not that goal would be given."

Newly-promoted Norwich's next Premier League match will be away to Sunderland on August 15.
