Three players at an unnamed Premier League club have reportedly shown symptoms familiar with coronavirus.
While other leagues across Europe have been suspended, the Premier League are yet to enforce such measures, something which may change after a COBRA meeting on Thursday.
However, according to The Telegraph, a decision to follow rival divisions may be made quicker than anticipated as a result of three players at one club being tested for coronavirus.
The report claims that the first player, who placed himself in isolation, to show symptoms had initially been getting better before a relapse.
With two teammates also showing similar symptoms, the rest of the first-team squad, including backroom staff, have now been tested.
One positive test is likely to result in the team's next match - scheduled for Saturday, Sunday or Monday - being postponed until a later date.
