Newcastle United are linked with a £20m summer bid for Bournemouth striker Joshua King.

Newcastle United are reportedly readying a summer bid for Bournemouth striker Joshua King.

Magpies boss Rafael Benitez is keen to boost his attack and has identified the Norway international as a top transfer target, according to The Sun.

The Cherries are said to value King at around £20m, and the player is reportedly open to a move away from Dean Court.

According to the report, Newcastle are readying an offer to present to Bournemouth and also drawing up personal terms to offer to King.

Benitez was recently linked with Arsenal as a potential replacement for outgoing manager Arsene Wenger, but he is said to be keen to focus on preparing for another season with the Magpies.
