Newcastle United have loaned Rolando Aarons to Hellas Verona for the rest of the season, the club have announced.
The move reunites the 22-year-old with former Newcastle coach Fabio Pecchia, who is battling to improve the club's position of 19th in the Serie A table.
Aarons had been linked with a loan move to Hull City, but reportedly preferred the prospect of a switch to Italy.
The winger, who has been with the Magpies since 2012, has made six appearances for the side this season.
Aarons could make his debut for Verona when they take on Roma on Sunday.
