Torino forward Andrea Belotti has rejected a move to Newcastle United, according to a report.
The Italian is out of contract at the end of the season, and he is expected to depart the club, which is why the Magpies had been interested in signing him this month.
The Premier League outfit have already bought Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood, but they are hoping to secure more deals before the transfer market shuts on Monday night.
However, according to Calciomercato, Belotti will not be someone who makes the switch to St James' Park, as he has rejected any potential move to the Magpies, as he is hoping to join AC Milan instead.
Several other Premier League clubs have been interested in the Italian international as well, with Arsenal and West Ham United keeping tabs on his situation.
The 28-year-old has made nine appearances this season in Serie A, scoring two times in that period.
