Newcastle United have reportedly made a £33m bid for Chelsea forward Armando Broja.
The Magpies are in the market for new players as they bid to remain in the Premier League, the North-East outfit currently enduring mixed fortunes when it comes to having offers accepted by other clubs.
Chris Wood has already been brought in to act as competition for Callum Wilson, but it appears that Eddie Howe is open to signing another player for his attack.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Newcastle have indicated to Chelsea that they are willing to pay €40m (£33.42m) to get a deal over the line for Broja.
The 20-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal at Southampton, where he has contributed five goals from his 18 appearances in England's top flight.
Southampton are known to want to sign the Albania international on a permanent basis, while West Ham United have also been linked with the youngster's signature.
However, Chelsea allegedly have no intention of cashing in on Broja this month, instead wanting to contemplate their options at the end of the season.
