Alan Pardew out for Swansea City revenge

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew admits that he is "determined" to beat Swansea City when the teams face each other in the Premier League tonight.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has admitted that he is "determined" to gain revenge over Swansea City when the teams meet in the Premier League tonight.

The Magpies, who make the trip to the Liberty Stadium, lost both of their fixtures against the Swans last season.

Pardew is now keen to erase those memories with a victory for his side in South Wales.

"We're playing well at the minute. We've had four really tough games and managed to edge them all," he told the club's official website. "But going to Swansea on a Wednesday night will be difficult.

"They beat us last year so I'm very determined to try and get a result there.

"It would be great if we could keep the run going - that's what we want to do. I want to keep the momentum."

Sixth-placed Newcastle have the chance to move into the Champions League places with a win against Swansea.
