Hatem Ben Arfa believes in Alan Pardew

Hatem Ben Arfa believes that Alan Pardew is the right man for the Newcastle job, despite the Magpies' poor start to the season.

Hull City loanee Hatem Ben Arfa has revealed that he thinks Alan Pardew is still the right man to take Newcastle United forward.

The 27-year-old doesn't blame Pardew for his parent club's performances and has no hard feelings, despite the manager sending the Frenchman out on loan.

"I do not blame him, I do not want him fired, the important thing is to develop myself," the winger said, according to the Evening Chronicle.

Ben Arfa returned to Newcastle as a visitor last weekend, as his side picked up a point in their 2-2 draw with Newcastle.
