New England Revolution and Philadelphia Union played out a goalless draw in their Major League Soccer encounter at the Gillette Stadium on Saturday.
In a largely uneventful first half, it was the visitors who came close to breaking the deadlock towards the end when Amobi Okugo's header from a corner crashed against New England's crossbar.
Union had another good chance to go ahead minutes after the restart when Brian Carroll had the home side's goal at his mercy, but he was thwarted by goalkeeper Matt Reis.
The 0-0 draw in Foxborough, Massachusetts means that New England have now not won any of their last 10 matches, while Union are winless in six games.
