Netherlands manager Danny Blind has admitted that he is concerned by the lack of game time that Robin van Persie is getting at Fenerbahce.
The 32-year-old striker joined the Turkish club from Manchester United over the summer, but has started in just half of his 12 appearances for them so far.
Van Persie has previously stated that he is not happy with a bench role, and Blind has agreed that the frontman should be a regular starter for his club.
"For Van Persie and for us this is not the most ideal situation," Goal.com quotes him as saying. "You want your players to play.
"On Thursday he played an entire game against Celtic, but it's not a good situation when one of your main players is not in the starting lineup weekly."
Van Persie has scored three goals so far for Fener.
