Colombian international Juan Zuniga has blamed his club side Napoli for not playing him so far this season.
The 29-year-old has not been used since April, when he picked up a knee injury, but while Zuniga has since recovered and returned to training, he has failed to make a matchday squad.
The full-back told Colombian newspaper El Tiempo: "I am training, but I am not playing because I am not being considered by the coaching staff or the club. It is all so strange what is happening because I am fit, but I do not even get to sit on the bench.
"If I am not playing for Napoli, it is because of the club. It's an uncomfortable moment. I can't wait to play again.
"I have spoken to our sporting director and he, like me, is waiting for the January transfer window to open."
Zuniga has been with the Serie A club since 2009 and has made 157 appearances for the Naples side.
