Napoli defender Raul Albiol is expected to miss Friday's Serie A clash with Roma due to injury.

The former Real Madrid centre-back has struggled with a number of muscular injuries in recent weeks, with further tests expected to take place in the coming days.

However, according to Radio Kiss Kiss, the Spaniard will not be fit for the top-of-the-table encounter with Roma, who currently lead the way in Serie A with 21 points, two points ahead of Napoli.

Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain, however, is expected to be fit to lead Napoli's line.
