Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has claimed that all the pressure is on opponents Panathinaikos ahead of the two sides' Champions League qualifying match tomorrow night.
Panathinaikos are reportedly struggling financially, and McCall believes that they need the money from qualifying more than his side, making them "desperate" to win.
"If you listen to what's coming out of their camp, the pressure is on them," McCall said. "Everyone expects them to go through and rightly so.
"I think there is an added pressure with their financial situation. We thought we were struggling in Scotland but if you listen to some stories coming out of their club it actually sounds like desperation stakes - they need to get through."
Motherwell finished third in last season's Scottish Premier League but enter the Champions League qualifiers after Rangers, who finished second, were liquidated.
