Former Real Madrid assistant Aitor Karanka has reportedly declared an interest in becoming the new manager at either Crystal Palace or Middlesbrough.
Karanka worked with Jose Mourinho during the Chelsea manager's spell at the Bernabeu, but he opted to leave the La Liga giants after the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti.
According to Sky Sports News, the 40-year-old is keen to take on a more senior position at a club, and he has reportedly registered an interest in moving to England.
The former Spanish international, who spent the majority of his career at Madrid and Athletic Bilbao, is also said to be attracting interest from France and the Middle East.
