Eliaquim Mangala hires Jorge Mendes as his agent

Reports suggest that Eliaquim Mangala could be on his way to Chelsea after signing with Jose Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes.

Porto centre-back Eliaquim Mangala has recruited Jorge Mendes as his new agent, leading to speculation that he is inching towards a move to Chelsea.

The 47-year-old from Portugal also represents Blues boss Jose Mourinho, who is reportedly interested in the French international.

Mangala moved to the Estadio do Dragao from Standard Liege two years ago and has impressed during his time in Portugal, which is also believed to have caught the attention of Manchester City and Manchester United.

The 22-year-old has a £40m buy-out clause in his contract.
