Mansfield Town target Bristol City's Marlon Harewood

Mansfield Town assistant boss Adam Murray reveals that the club are interested in signing Marlon Harewood from Bristol City.

Mansfield Town assistant manager Adam Murray has confirmed that Bristol City striker Marlon Harewood is one of the club's transfer targets.

The 34-year-old has played 17 times for City this season after joining the Ashton Gate outfit during the summer.

Murray told BBC Radio Nottingham: "He has been on the list and is one that we have looked at.

"He is a good player and his career has proved his quality. Whether we sign him is a totally different ball game."

The former Nottingham Forest forward has also played for Aston Villa, West Ham United and Barnsley during his career.
