Manchester United are reportedly yet to set a date for the medical of Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
On Monday, it was widely claimed that the Premier League giants have made significant progress in their efforts to sign the France international.
Varane, who will allegedly cost £35m plus add-ons, has agreed to pen a four-year contract at Old Trafford with United possessing the option of an extra 12 months.
However, according to The Athletic, United will have to remain patient before announcing official confirmation of the transfer.
The report says that the respective parties are yet to settle on a day for the 28-year-old's medical due to quarantine restrictions.
Varane has recently returned to training with Madrid, meaning that he must produce negative coronavirus tests before being allowed to link up with United.
