Manchester United are reportedly keen for Chris Smalling to extend his contract with the club.
The 24-year-old's current deal is due to expire in the summer of 2016 and has been linked with Arsenal.
However, United want to keep hold of the centre-back and will tempt him to commit his future to Old Trafford by offering him fresh terms of around £70,000 a week, according to Goal.com.
Should that be finalised, it is believed that the new deal would see Smalling have parity with his teammate Phil Jones, who is also expected to sign a new contract in the near future.
England international Smalling joined the Red Devils from Fulham in 2010.
