Manchester United are reportedly considering an approach for Paris Saint-Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is allegedly interested in bolstering his defence ahead of the new season, with a new centre-back potentially in the offing before Thursday's 5pm transfer deadline.
According to French outlet L'Equipe, however, United chiefs are now planning to make a late move for Kurzawa, who has been on the fringes of the PSG squad since joining from Monaco in 2015.
The source adds that the 26-year-old, who only appeared in 20 Ligue 1 games last term, could be a long-term replacement for Luke Shaw, with the Englishman in a similar situation at Old Trafford.
Kurzawa has two years left on his current deal with the French champions.
