Real Madrid could reportedly move for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz during this summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Manchester United and Arsenal among the clubs to be credited with an interest in the Spain international.
Ruiz has entered the final 18 months of his contract in Naples, and according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the situation.
Schira claims that Los Blancos head coach Carlo Ancelotti 'loves' the midfielder, who wants to return to La Liga this summer rather than make the move to the Premier League.
Ruiz previously represented Real Betis between 2004 and 2018, making 60 appearances for their first team before arriving at Napoli in 2018.
The Spaniard, who is also thought to be a long-term target for Barcelona, has scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists in 155 appearances for his Italian club.
