Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has insisted that Manchester United are "wasting their time" with a summer pursuit of teammate Cesc Fabregas.
United have had two bids turned down for the Spanish playmaker, with the latest rejected offer believed to be worth £30m.
Pique told The Sun: "United are wasting their time. It took a long time for Cesc to get his dream move back home and he won't give it up.
"This is home, it is where his family is, and he is playing with his closest friends. He has told us he is happy and that he intends to stay with Barcelona."
United boss David Moyes has confirmed that the club are actively chasing Fabregas, with chief executive Ed Woodward working on closing deals for his transfer targets.
