Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly set his heart on joining Barcelona this summer.
Speculation over the World Cup winner's future continues to rage on despite the English transfer window closing more than a week ago, with European clubs still able to buy players before the end of the month.
Pogba's relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho is understood to have hit a new low in the opening week of the new campaign, after he suggested that he was unhappy at the club following the 2-1 win over Leicester City last Friday.
The Daily Mail reports that Pogba has now expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford, with Spanish champions Barcelona understood to be leading the race for his signature.
The report goes on to say that the 25-year-old's interest in leaving the club is primarily in order to join Barcelona, rather than being a result of the breakdown of his relationship with Mourinho.
Pogba joined United from Juventus in 2016 and has made 89 appearances for the club during his second spell.
