Manchester United to offer £15m and Antonio Valencia for Leighton Baines?

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to offer Everton £15m and Antonio Valencia for Leighton Baines.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer Everton £15m and Antonio Valencia for defender Leighton Baines.

United boss David Moyes is a huge admirer of the England left-back and tried to sign him in the summer with a joint-bid alongside Marouane Fellaini.

His attempts were thwarted by the Blues, who rejected the offer, but the Scot will return with a fresh bid in January, with winger Valencia a makeweight in the deal, according to the Daily Mail.

A recent report claimed that Moyes was considering allowing Alexander Buttner to leave Old Trafford, meaning a place in the squad for a left-sided defender would be available.
