Manchester United make swoop for Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone?

Manchester United reportedly contact Sunderland over signing goalkeeper Vito Mannone.

Manchester United have reportedly approached Sunderland regarding the potential capture of goalkeeper Vito Mannone.

Reports have emerged in Italy claiming that manager David Moyes is keen to bring Mannone to Old Trafford in order to provide cover for number one David de Gea.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, United have made contact with the Black Cats regarding Mannone, as Anders Lindegaard could be leaving the club in search of first-team football.

Mannone moved to the Stadium of Light from Arsenal last year.
