Manchester United 'open talks over Andreas Pereira sale'

A report claims that Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira may be on his way to Real Betis after making just five league appearances for the Red Devils.

Talks are reportedly underway between Manchester United and Real Betis regarding a permanent transfer for midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Betis recently emerged as rumoured suitors for the 22-year-old, who has spent the last couple of seasons on loan in Spain with Granada and Valencia.

Pereira suggested last month that he is willing to fight for a first-team place at United next season, despite being offered regular football with Valencia.

According to a report carried by The Mirror, however, the Brazil Under-23s international now appears to be on his way to Betis.

United are said to be in discussions with Los Verdiblancos, potentially bringing an end to Pereira's time at Old Trafford after making just five league appearances for the club.
