Manchester United have reportedly turned their attention to Valencia left-back Jose Gaya after being priced out of a move for Alex Sandro.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the Juventus and Brazil defender for a number of months to bolster their defensive ranks.
According to The Mirror, however, the Bianconeri have quoted £50m for Sandro, a fee which Man United have deemed too expensive.
The report goes on to claim that 23-year-old Gaya - said to be valued at £30m after signing a new contract at the Mestalla last month - is now on the Premier League side's radar.
Jose Mourinho deployed Ashley Young as a makeshift left-back for the majority of the 2017-18 campaign.
