Manchester United and Juventus have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Erling Haaland despite more than 20 clubs scouting the Red Bull Salzburg forward.
The 19-year-old's incredible start to the 2019-20 campaign - scoring 22 times in just 15 appearances for Salzburg - has made him one of the most in-demand youngsters in world football.
According to The Guardian, more than 20 clubs have watched the Norway international, but United and Juve are the two clubs at the head of the queue.
The report claims that Salzburg currently value him in the region of £35m, although the Austrian club believe that they would be able to sell for in excess of £51m over the summer.
Napoli had also been linked with a swoop, but the Serie A outfit are reportedly convinced that United will win the race to sign the teenager due to his links with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The current Red Devils boss was in charge of Molde when Haaland was at the club, and the attacker scored 20 times in 50 appearances for the Norwegian club before completing a switch to Salzburg.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Chelsea have also all reportedly watched the forward in action this season.
