Manchester United have reportedly received a boost in their pursuit of West Ham United youngster Oscar Borg.
The 16-year-old has been on trial with the Red Devils for the past fortnight, during which time he has featured in three Under-18 friendly encounters.
His current club West Ham remain keen to retain the winger's services, but he has turned down their offer of professional terms because he would prefer to continue his career at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.
Should he sign for United, the report adds that around £250,000 in compensation would have to be paid to the East Londoners.
Watford striker Ogo Obi is also believed to have started a trial period with United alongside Borg, who has drawn comparisons with Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.
