Manchester United have reportedly added Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny to their list of possible replacements for David de Gea.
The Red Devils are at risk of losing current number one De Gea on a free transfer next year, with the Spaniard in the final year of his contract.
De Gea has come under criticism for some of his performances this season, but he has comfortably fended off competition from Martin Dubravka for the number one spot.
However, the 31-year-old will be free to open pre-contract talks with foreign clubs from January if he does not sign an extension, and he would supposedly have to take a significant pay cut to remain at Old Trafford.
The likes of Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak, Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez, Everton's Jordan Pickford and Brighton & Hove Albion's Robert Sanchez have all been tipped to succeed De Gea should he depart at the end of the season.

Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa was also heavily linked with a move, but the Portugal international has now signed a new long-term deal with Sergio Conceicao's men.
Now, Calciomercatoweb claims that Juventus number one and former Arsenal man Szczesny is also admired by Erik ten Hag, and the Red Devils are considering a move for the 32-year-old.
After being ousted by Petr Cech and David Ospina in the Gunners goal, Szczesny left Arsenal to sign for Juventus in 2017 and had big gloves to fill in the form of Gianluigi Buffon.
The Poland international has established himself as a leading European goalkeeper with the Bianconeri, though, making 190 appearances for the club over the past five years.
Szczesny has kept 76 clean sheets in that time and has won seven trophies with the Old Lady, including three Serie A titles, two Coppa Italias and two Supercoppa Italiana crowns.

Despite Juve's struggles in the first half of the 2022-23 season, Szczesny has kept an impressive seven clean sheets in nine Serie A games, conceding just three goals.
The former Roma loanee is only under contract at the Allianz Stadium until 2024, though, and he could be part of a transfer triangle involving three goalkeepers.
The report adds that De Gea is a prime target of Barcelona's should he leave Man United, and his arrival at Camp Nou could see Marc-Andre ter Stegen head for Bayern Munich.
Szczesny would then emerge as a contender to succeed De Gea at Old Trafford, having previously made 132 Premier League appearances with Arsenal and sharing the Golden Glove with Cech in the 2013-14 campaign.
Szczesny will expect to start for Poland when they get their World Cup 2022 campaign underway against Mexico in Group C on Tuesday.
